Welcome

Patrick speaking during his 2009 election campaignThank you for visiting my site and for taking the time to learn about the issues which motivate my efforts. Here you can also read about my background and about South Africa, the country where I was born.

After standing in the 2009 local elections, I returned my full energies to my business and to African Schools Sports Aid (ASSA) – a cause that’s very close to my heart.

I also continue to speak out against racism, xenophobia, discrimination, inequality, corruption and injustice – and am frequently a voice in the media.

I believe that positive change and solutions to the many problems affecting our society can only be achieved through solidarity. I also believe that the interests of immigrants and minorities need to be fully represented in the political process, in the Oireachtas and at all levels of the Irish government.

Hard-working, tax paying and law-abiding people, who support the Irish economy through their work and expertise at every level, should not allow their voices to continue being excluded, muzzled and marginalized. Nor should they have to put up with the increasing insults and abuse to which so many are being subjected on a daily basis – often by individuals who are grossly corrupt and incompetent, who have criminal records, or who live off handouts collected from taxes payed by immigrants.

To bring to my attention any problem which I might be able to help you with, or simply to ask a question, please feel free to contact me at any time.

With the best of wishes,

Patrick Maphoso
