Keeping Bernie safe

Patrick gives Bernie the hi-vis vestThere’s a lady called Bernie Stanley on Parnell Street who is dedicated in her job of parking cars in the city and works very hard to curb vehicle crime. She’s always there on weekends.

But I felt she was not very visible and was concerned that she might be hurt by a car while working so today I gave her a hi-vis vest to help keep her safe.

I admire her for playing a role in the community and for all her hard work, commitment and dedication.
